Please join the Aspen Choral Society for the 39th Annual performance of Handel’s Messiah this December 8-11, 2016. Aspen Choral Society consist of Community members, Professional singers,and paid soloists, joined by a professionally trained Orchestra of locals and visiting players from around the country. This year we are performing at 4 different locations to make it convenient for the whole Roaring Fork Valley to catch the holiday spirit.
The first performance of this years Messiah is on Thursday Dec 8, at Grace Church in Emma, right between Basalt and El Jebel. Finally a place for a concert midvalley!
The Second night, Friday Dec 9, is at the beautiful St. Stephens Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs. A truly spectacular place to hear music.
The Third night, Saturday Dec 10, is in the intimate setting of the Snowmass Chapel. A truly warm and wonderful location to enjoy seeing this performance with your family and friends.
Saturday Dec 11, is the final performance, and rightly so it should end in Aspen at its original performance space of St. Mary’s Catholic church. Its a magical and nostalgic place to witness the 39th annual performance and close out the 2016 season.
