Originally from St. Croix Falls, WI, Paul received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Choral Music Education from UW-Eau Claire and USM respectively. He also holds a certification from the Voice Care Network. While teaching for 6 years at Lomira Public Schools, he founded Lomira Community Theatre. After moving to Colorado in 2004, he taught vocal music as well as theory and composition at Aspen High School and Middle School for 2 years. Paul accepted the best full time job he has ever had (and current position) as Music Director at Snowmass Chapel in 2006.

During his time in the Roaring Fork Valley, Paul has acted, directed and performed with Aspen Choral Society, Aspen Community Theatre, Theatre Aspen, Symphony In the Valley, Aspen Chapel, Christ Church and of course, Snowmass Chapel. He is deeply grateful to all who have contributed passion, talent and volunteer time to ACS over the years, building the organization into the community pillar that it has become. He is excited about the creative potential of this group of musicians and honored to be given the opportunity to be the current music director following the passing of ACS’s beloved director and founder, Ray Adams. He would like to especially thank his husband, Micha, for supporting this exciting new collaboration.
